Today is one of my best friend's birthday - Siti Eli Ilyana Salim. She is one of my 'bestest' and wonderful friend I ever had. Being far away from Malaysia doesn't seem to stop me from making suprise for her. I started to sms her asking for her fav color. When she asked why, being a good pretender, I just said I want to put it in my journal as reference. Thus, I smsed our other good friends - Kak Lind. I asked if she could do me a favour to buy a bouquet of flowers for K. Eli's birthday. It turns out that both of us agreed to make suprise for her. So in the end K.Lind helped me out with the arrangement and the flower was sent to the office today. Ironically, K.Eli tought the bouquet is from the husband's but later realise that it was from us!
We used to work together in MATSB but then time flies - K. Eli is still loyal with MATSB, K.Lind had joint IBM and as for me - I am a successful home maker for the last 2 years. We may not spend a lot of time emailing or smsing or calling each other, yet deep down inside all of us know that when we face problem we know who we can turn to for a shoulder to cry on. We managed to go out several times when I was back home in Malaysia. We just spend our time talking, eating, shopping and sharing new experince. Talking to them is so easy; all I need to start with is the head, and they already know the tail. Even our partners can get along with each other. And all three of us have a pair of kids each!

It's sooo sweet of you guys..it's a pleasant surprise..and guess what? That nite we had Malaysia Airports dinner with theme - Retro..The dinner + performance was great..but I miss both of u..u n Lind..very much :(

Ckn loves you so much. I bet she dreams of you. She misses having a friend and sister to talk and cry with; a role that both you and Lind fit. I think I'm her very good friend, but you are both her best friends. I am so envious of your relationship! but I'm also happy because I can see that Ckn is happiest when talking about you and Lind. I hope the three of you will remain forever together, insyaAllah.
Wow... My hubby sounds jealous.. No lah... U are my best frend too but sometimes there are something that men don't understand well compared to women. But I still turn to you when I face problems and need to cry. u know that well. U are my best, 'bester' and 'bestest' frend and soulmate la darling....
