At last after doing all the research for almost 2 weeks, we finally manage to have our itenarary done for our holiday this year. Insyaallah we are planning to go to Istanbul for this coming Eid Fitri. We are leaving on 12th until 18th October.
We have laid out 7 days itenarary for us from sightseeing to visiting memorable places to shopping. Can't wait for the shopping time as hubby had promised to buy me a nice carpet for our new house. Even the itenarary had been done but I just wait until we finally landed there and update the blog later as I won't know what the outcome will be with these 2 kids.
But there are several things that we already take note about this holiday:-
1. We are travelling with 2 kids. The tense will be more as Erica is still small and we are afraid that our plan will make them tired. Mama and baba kalau dah berjalan tak ingat dunia...
2. We have to bring both strollers and also the 3 in 1 baby carrier so that we can just choose which 'transportation' is better for the kids as we are going to walk a lot. Nak naik tram pun kalau dengan both strollers payah pulak.
3. Call Maybank to inform them that we are travelling to Istanbul and activate our credit card.
4. Call Maybank for our ATM card to be activated for international use. Since Istanbul is using only 4 digits for the PIN number so the ATM machine will automatically change to 6 pin request. And also we can only use at PLUS ATMs and can only withdraw from 6am-12am Malaysian time. Each transaction will cost us RM 4 each irrespective of the amount. Mahainya...
5. To bring enough milk supply for the kids as Ehsan's milk is very difficult to find. He is on soy base milk so the brand is very limited.
6. Make sure to bring extra bag for putting all the souveniers back. Yehaaaa!!!!
7. Last but not least try to enjoy as much as possible eventhough it is raya. Huk...huk...huk...
We have about 9 days till the day come and I am looking foward for the trip. I had been doing the sweet talking to hubby into trying the hamam. Hamam is actually a traditional Turkish bath with a unique protocol. It was adopted from Romans and Byzantines and then perfected by the Seljuk Turks and has continued even until today. Most of the places that we research had a separate hamam for man and woman. But we found one place that have coed hamam. Even it doesn't a traditional way but it is better as we can both enjoy and have our kids together.
As for now I still have to make my listing of what to bring and take note of the importants. And also the shopping list. Muah.. muah... Sayang abang......
